What is Evolve Yourself?

Evolve Yourself is a structured card-based method for working with a specific goal, decision or situation where something is holding you back from making the change you want. Available in Slovenian and English.

It helps you recognise what is getting in the way, look at the situation from a different perspective and connect new insight with concrete action.

The process goes beyond thinking alone. It also involves movement, the body, sensory imagery and small, achievable steps that help bring new insight into everyday life.

Who is it for?

Evolve Yourself is designed for people who want to make a concrete move towards a goal, decision or change, particularly when they:

• know what they would like to change but struggle to take the first step;
• keep circling around the same thoughts or doubts;
• feel held back by a habitual belief or inner resistance;
• lack motivation or momentum to begin;
• want more clarity about what to do next;
• need to turn a step that feels too large into something smaller and achievable.

It is also suitable for coaches, mentors, facilitators and other people-development professionalswho want to use it as a structured tool in one-to-one or group work.

Why Evolve Yourself?

Sometimes the problem is not a lack of knowledge. We know what we want, understand the situation and may even know what we should do — yet still do not move.

Evolve Yourself helps connect understanding, experience and action..

Instead of stopping at the question “Why am I not moving forward?”,the process guides you towards:

“What can I do now?”

The aim is not to solve everything in one step, but to identify a clear and achievable move that helps change begin.

How do you use the cards?

The digital guide takes you through the core five-phase process.

You do not use all 35 cards in one session. You select the cards that are most relevant to the specific situation you are working on. The cards are double-sided, with the content and experiential instructions on both sides designed to complement each other.

You can use the cards:

• independently,
• with a coach or mentor,
• in one-to-one work,
• as part of a group development workshop.

You do not have to use them only as a complete Evolve process. Individual cards or sets can also be integrated into your own way of working.

Methodology design and card content: Involve Evolution, Institute for Personal and Systemic Development.

Original iconography and visual symbolism system: Katja Keserič Markovič, designer and illustrator. The visual system was developed specifically for the Evolve methodology and supports its phases, concepts, and intuitive use of maps.

Evolve is developed and made in Slovenia in a small production run. The first edition consists of only 25 sets of each language version.

The packaging is made from 100% dead-stock wool felt from Jutranjka..
